Professor Joyce Hill is our Lecturer this year at the annual Fitzhamon Lecture to be held on Saturday 27th April 2019. This fully-illustrated lecture will be exploring the heritage of Tewkesbury Abbey as a fitting climax to a remarkable series of Benedictine foundations in the 10th and 11th centuries, set in the larger context of the monastic history of Anglo-Saxon England, when such Benedictine communities were centres of art and learning.
