SUMMARY:Friends' Festival 2024
DESCRIPTION:Due to a change to the regular service pattern at the Abbey it is necessary to move the date of the annual Friends’ Festival. From 2024 the Friends’ Festival (including the AGM) will now be held on the LAST SUNDAY IN JUNE each year. \n\n\n\nThe Friends’ Festival date for 2024 is therefore SUNDAY 30TH JUNE  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgramme for the Friends’ Festival – Sunday 30th June\n\n\n\nThe Right Reverend David Charlesworth O.S.B. Abbot of Buckfast and Titular Abbot of Tewkesbury will be Guest of Honour for the day\, and will be the preacher at the Choral Eucharist \n\n\n\n10.30am Choral Eucharist\n\n\n\nPresident: Reverend Canon Nick Davies\, Vicar of Tewkesbury \n\n\n\n12.30pm Bring and Share Lunch\n\n\n\nPlease take your contribution to the Tea Room before the morning service. Wine and soft-drinks will be provided \n\n\n\n2.00pm Annual General Meeting to be held in the Parish Hall\n\n\n\nThe Chair\, Vice-Chair\, Treasurer and 4 Council members will be elected at this meeting.
